Goodbye, kind, wonderful friend. You, who never met a stranger, whose door was always open, whose heart was as big as the sky, we loved you and love you still. What a legacy of kindness, energy, and caring you leave behind. You will never be forgotten on this planet. May you grace your new home as you did this one. Miles and Den

It's never easy to loose a parent, whether biological or one thought of from life lessons and experiences. I learned much from Stephen and always introduced him as one of my Dads. He's unique outlook and methods for tackling daunting tasks were a few of those that I will cherish. Rest on High with your mom, my beloved Dad. Your work here is done. Much love for him and his partner, Leonard.

Stephen was a huge help in fund raising projects for the San Antonio AIDS Foundation WEBB party and various Aritst Foundation of San Antonio events. We were always on a shoe string budget and he made it look spectacular. I learned so much from working with him. I have made arrangements for a 2015 Grant in Performance from the Artist Foundation be named in Memory of Stephen. A tribute for his amazing talent that will be greatly missed.

It is with great sadness that we have to say our "Good-bye" to Stephen. He was such a character and always had a profound statement to make or say something so funny you couldn't stop laughing. He enjoyed life and all that it brought to him and he and Leonard were an exceptional couple that shared the love of the theater and doing nice things for those who were not as fortunate. May God bless him and may he rest in peace and may each new day be good to Leonard and may he rise about the grief he is now experiencing and live with only happy memories of time with Stephen. God bless them both, they are truly exceptional individuals in this world that surrounds us.

It was no less than a privilege to be counted as one of Stephen's closest friends. A sincere honor to hold Stephen's hand as he was rewarded with his wings. No longer limping to his next destination, but flying. Your laughter will ring through the hallways of heaven as you await all of our arrivals!

Stephen touched so many friends, colleagues, and people from all walks of life with his lust for life and love of all things beautiful. He will be missed terribly, but heaven couldn't have a better person to make the place even more lovely. Leonard, our thoughts are with you and we will never think of Stephen without thinking of his incredible partner in life who shared him with us. Love, Melissa Brazeau and family
