Pauline O. Rebeor

Rebeor, Pauline O. PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. Pauline (Kitts) Rebeor, cherished wife of the late William Rebeor, passed away at Treasure Coast Hospice, June 27, 2017, just six months after her beloved husband, William. Born August 23, 1930, in Fulton, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Harold V. Kitts and Opal (Newcomb) Kitts, and the youngest of four children. She attended Fulton High School and graduated in 1948. She was united in marriage to William G. Rebeor on April 5, 1952, in Fulton, and was married for 64 years. Pauline was employed by Shenendehowa Central School District as an administrative assistant for 20 years. Pauline and William spent their summers and fall in Stowe, Vt., until 2013. They retired to Florida in 1990. Pauline was a, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a quiet and gentle spirit and manifested her love for the Lord. She was gracious, caring, and beautiful inside and out. Her friends and family will not forget her loving spirit, as well as her warmth, sensitivity and sense of humor. She had a way of saying the funniest things at just the right moment. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and delighted in telling them stories of her generation and life. She had a passion for world history, reading biographies, and an appreciation for the arts, especially music, dance and theatre. Pauline is survived by her two children, Douglas Rebeor (Karen), of Homosassa Springs, Fla. and Robyn Chalmers of Jensen Beach, Fla.; her brother, Paul Kitts of Fulton; two sisters-in-law, Claudine (Taft) Kitts of Cleburne, Texas; Irene (Pfiefer) Rebeor of Greenville; two brothers-in-law, Raymond Rebeor of Fulton and Robert Rebeor of Allentown, Pa.; four grandchildren, Robert (Sandra) Rebeor of St. Johns, Fla., Michael and Jonathan Chalmers of Jacksonville, Fla. and William Chalmers of Jensen Beach; two great-grandchildren, Jacqueline Rebeor and Luke Rebeor of St. Johns, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 22, at Sunlight Community Church, 477 Cashmere Blvd., Port St. Lucie, Fla.
