I new Frank Madigan as a very young child. Frank was one of my fathers best friends. Stanley Jedynak. My parents lived close to Siena College where my Dad worked, they had many house dinners and gatherings. As the years went by, Frank was always welcomed by my Mother Jean and a participant in holidays. I grew up listening to the professorial banter between them. I am now a teacher because of this influence in my life. As my dad entered his last years, Frank was a true friend, always visiting my Dad in his 90's, to share the present and remember the past. When My Dad passed at 93 years. Frank was still part of our family. My sister Janice Jedynak, would pick Frank up and My Brother, Stacy Jedynak and I would share Thanks giving or Christmas at her daughtesr home. We loved Frank because of his wonderful personality and he brought memories back to us of our father and his friend. I will miss you Frank. Jacqueline Jedynak Wayne

To Frank (Mac’s) family. My wife and I send our heartfelt condolences on your loss. I am the nephew of Mac’s partner Jack. MAC was a very big part of our family for many, many years. Him and Jack would come to our house most holidays. I thoroughly enjoyEd talking with him, we had many stimulating conversations. My grandMother was also Very fond of him.
We often would meet the two of them for dinner out or at Jacks house for leftovers. I will so miss you Mac, but your with your chum now.

Although I didn't know Francis, this comes at a coincidental time for me. My mother Ann Ferry ( nee Ward) just passed away and when I was cleaning out her home I came across the map of the cemetery Gate of Heaven with this grave marker being noted on the map. 41- B4-225-2. I did not recognize the name Murray until I saw that it was for LT. John C. Murray Jr and then it dawned on me that my mother had an Aunt Kitty whose son had been killed in WW2. I went to the cemetery this past weekend and saw the markings for the grave to be opened, so I called the cemetery today and found out it was for Francis Madigan. I am not sure of the relationship but I want to express my condolences to the family.
