On behalf of the Janowiecki family, I extend our sincere condolences to the Skees family. We also lived in Westbrook Village and I remember all the Janowiecki and Skees kids running around the neighborhood together. My parents, Richard and Mary Ann would also get together monthly with Hugh and Jasmine and other neighbors for dinner. It's great that our two families became friends way back in 1970! May God bless you and know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

On behalf of the Steineman family - I extend our sincere condolences to the Skees family in your time of grief.
Our family friendships/relationships extends over 45 years, (yikes! we are older now than our parents when they met!)
beginning with our parish & school days at '"Precious Blood".
I can still picture Mr. Skees standing so tall & proud, dressed in his suit ushering at mass along with my dad. Our parents became lifelong friends
that has extended to the
siblings. If there was a Steineman in a class there was a Skees!
My mother was always very fond of Jasmine & they remained close long after their days as "church ladies & school mom's."
LeAnn & Sally, the youngest of the siblings, are the glue that has kept our families connected. They STILL take a yearly "girls trip!" I am very grateful for the example our parents set for us. We have & can keep
all of our warm & sweet memories of our childhood & our parents alive!
It is through God we met & through God we depart...
Rest in peace Mr. Skees!

Your Dad was truly a great man. So wise, spiritual and kind-hearted. I have so many fond childhood memories of him! And count myself as truly blessed to have known him for most of my life.❤ Beyond his many accomplishments, his children (and grandchildren) are the greatest legacy he has bestowed upon us. God bless you all as you mourn his passing and live on his great example.❤❤
