James A Ciamarro

Mrs Combs, I was so sad when I to learn of Denvers passing. My Condolences to you and your family. My name is Jim Ciamarro and last week I called Denver because I wanted to refer a vet friend who needed the help of some one like Denver. Denver not only helped me with my compensaton rating but my father also...who was 81 years old at the time. Denver was real, you could hear it in his voice. I could never thank him enough for what he did for me and my dad.

Just now seeing this. I knew Denver through the nursing home industry. As others have said, he worked tirelessly to make sure each veteran he encountered received their full benefit. He was such a gentleman and a pleasure to work with. A life that truly touched many others for the good.
Blessings on his family,

We only just now learned of Denver's death. He was such a kind man! He helped my husband with vets benefits and never gave up despite several bumps in the road. It really is because of him that we are where we are today. We will forever be grateful to him! I am sorry this is nearly a year late but we had no idea. Our condolences to his wife and family.

Denver and I go back to the early morning prayer times and youth group at the Miamisburg Church of God, his days at JCPenney´s at the Dayton Mall, and keeping in touch during his time, and then our time in Vietnam. We prayed and talked together during his time of transition to helping veterans, and I will always be so very grateful for the help he gave my younger brother, also a Vietnam Vet. I grieve over Denver`s passing, but not without hope of seeing my brother in Christ again. Mary, the children, and the family will be in our prayers that God will give them comfort, peace, and encouragement. Love, Don (and Carol) Raisch and family

Denver was a member of VFW Post 9550 and assisted many of our Veterans with their disability benefits submissions. We are thankful for his service during his time in Vietnam and thankful for his service to Veterans after the military. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mary and the family.
