I am shocked and surprised to learn of Peter Whitcopf's passing. I knew Peter and worked with him as a fellow Preliminary Year Intern at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He was a warm, funny, and supportive co-intern. I remember how he and Raj, one of his medical school classmates, helped ease my transition to MCP for my internship year. I fondly remember him and pray for peace in his family members and close friends' hearts.

Peter was one of my oldest friends. I really can't remember a time not having known him, we go back that far together.
In all honesty, Peter was one of the kindest, most ethical, moral, hardworking, intelligent and just decent people I've ever known. He was a very good friend to have in both good times and bad, and I'll miss him very much.
My condolences to the Whitcopf family, and God bless Peter Whitcopf.

I´m so sorry. We kept in touch and talked several times in the last year. He was always unapologetically himself and we could (and did) talk about anything and everything. He was so proud of King and Morgan and their accomplishments, big and small. May his memory be a blessing.
