I had not seen Rob in years. That is 100% my fault.

He was such a good guy. He was the Best Man at my wedding in 1976. He was always a great friend and over the top generous.

The world needs more people like Rob Stroupe. RIP.

My prayers are with you, Jane. Rob spoke about his family often he was a very proud Grandpa to Ayla and Myles and a loving caring husband. Rob was an AWESOME volunteer with a sincere heart for the patients. He was compassionate and would have the patients happy as he rolled them out to be discharged home. Rob had a good sense of humor and made friends very easy.
He had a love for photography that he spoke about and he was never tired of taking about fishing.
My heart is hurting but also in Joy because the last time I spoke with Rob was on January 2nd and we LAUGHED real hard. I am in Joy because my memories are of happy times.
Blessings and Prayers to the family!

When I first discovered GWFF Rob was one of the first people to welcome me. We fished Calloway Gardens together where I borrowed equipment and float tube. Rob was there with me teaching me how to cast, once I caught on and had settled in he parked his kayak under a tree and took a nap . He welcomed me and my mom into his home and was such a wonderful human being. I loved everything about Rob and he will be greatly missed. RIP my friend. I love you My thoughts and prayers are with his family

My thoughts are with Jane, Mary and all the family during this time of loss. Rob, fondly known by a few of us as 'Daddy', was such a good friend to my husband, and to me as well, over the years. He was a caring, giving person who was always putting others before himself. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
