JoAnne Grinder Obituary
She was born to Jape Bucy and Ruth Helenius. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Ray and Ruth Helenius and her son, Christopher Mark Grinder.
JoAnne is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard N. Grinder; her son, Bryan Grinder (Renee Hackney); grandchildren, Christopher Cade Grinder, Mallory Elizabeth Grinder; and her sister, Frances Bogue.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in JoAnne's honor.
Family will receive friends in the South Hall Entrances 1 and 2 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, May 6 at Hope Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Rd, Cordova, TN. Services will be on Tuesday, May 7 in the South Hall South Hall Entrances 1 and 2 at Hope Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Rd, Cordova, TN. Interment will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN.

My heart shattered when I saw this. I remember sitting next to her at the Briarcrest Highschool Baseball Games--Cheering the team on. She was ALWAYS there with a smile on her face!! In middle school Cade's grandparents were the first to volunteer to take us to lunch or Jerry Snowcones. They were always there at any kind of event for Cade and Mallory. If you did not have a family member there at that event, they stepped in!
She will be remembered as a loving grandma to us all! May she rest in peace with our Lord and may the Lord comfort this family during this time.
