James Dunn Obituary

JAMES P. DUNN

Northampton, MA - James P Dunn, 74, of Florence passed away on July 4, 2025 at the Care One Facility in Northampton. James was born on January 16, 1951 to James and Patricia (Viener) Dunn.

He grew up in Northampton graduating from the former St Michael's High School in 1970. James was a hard worker, working for many years for the Town of Amherst. He enjoyed vacationing in Cape Cod and visiting with his family. James is survived by his sons Matthew Dunn and his wife Amy, and Nathan Dunn; his grandchildren Jacoby and Avery Dunn; sisters Elizabeth Maguire and her husband Charles, and Theresa Howe. He also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews along with his former wife Carol Dunn. James was predeceased by his parents James and Patricia Dunn along with his sister Kathleen Dunn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday July 15, 2025 at the St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on King St Northampton at 10 am followed by Burial at St Mary's Cemetery. A Calling Hour will precede the funeral from 8 am to 9:30 am at the Czelusniak Funeral Home, 173 North St., Northampton.
