I did my student teaching with Diane in 1997. She is the teacher I learned the most from, and I still use the lessons she taught me in my classroom today 28 years later. She was a fantastic mentor, and I could never in a million years express how welcome she made me feel at Ludlow High School. I truly lucked out having her as my mentor teacher. She was certainly one of the best. I am so sorry to her family and friends for their loss. She certainly won't be forgotten.

Mrs. Mazzocco was a tough but fair English teacher. She was so influential on my education and taught me what it means to be a critical thinker. She really cared about learning. I will always remember her love of Ohio State and how she would postpone the due date of an assignment if Ohio State had won over the weekend! My condolences to her family and all that loved her. RIP, Mrs. Mazzocco - you really did make a difference.

With the passing, last Sunday, the 11th of January, of my dearest friend and colleague at Ludlow High School, Diane Mazzocco (1943-2026, I have lost much more than a friend and a colleague. For the past forty years, she always planned trips, events, and lunch dates for the two of us to enjoy. Together, we saw special art exhibits at the MFA, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Metropolitan, and the Brooklyn Museum. Diane and I attended plays at the Edith Wharton House (the Mount) in Lenox. I learned so very much from these activities. Thank you, Diane, for enriching my life and for supporting me, Frank, and Evan through the most difficult moments of our lives for over forty years. I will never forget you for as long as I live.
RIP, my beloved sista.
My deepest condolences to Marco, Tom, Phillip, and all the nieces and nephews.

Tom, sending sincere condolences. I regret that I didn´t get to meet her. I see now that we had some much in common. We are your neighbors who put up the Penn State flag on game day;) Susan and Georgie
