Dale Dedrick Obituary
On Friday, September 5, 2008, God sent His angels down to take Dale Houston Dedrick home, at the age of 46. After a fire accident on August 4, 2008, Dale remained at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, until his death. He was born on September 26, 1961, in Waynesboro, Virginia, the son of the late Dale E. Dedrick and Betty Dedrick Brooks. He was a grandson of the late Houston and Cora Dedrick and Cyrus and Elsie Bryant.
Dale was a cabinetmaker and he enjoyed helping others.
Family members include three stepsons, Shane, Justin and Brian Adkins; one brother, Lewis Bryant of Stuarts Draft; three sisters, Sandra Trantham and her husband, Gene Trantham, of Stuarts Draft, Rhonda Utt of Stuarts Draft and Sharon Willoughby and her husband, Danny Willoughby, of Stuarts Draft; nieces and nephews, Jason and Tab Bryant, A.D. and Corey Campbell, Chrissy and Roy Lee Utt, Dustin Vance, Emily Siple, Jenny Brobjorg, Sarah Willoughby, Kayley and Kelsey Campbell, Austin Utt, Kaden Campbell and Jack Brobjorg, Courtney Klein, and Dezirea Bricker; and special friends, David and Tammy White and Vanessa Dedrick. He also leaves behind, the special love of his life of 27 years, Calista Duncan of Waynesboro. His special companions, Spike and Candy, brought him so much joy.
A Graveside Service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, September 8, 2008, in Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro, conducted by the Reverend Dr. John McDonald.
Dale also had an extended family that met at the Waynesboro Second Presbyterian Church a couple of times a week.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m, Monday, September 8, 2008..at Second Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Second Presbyterian Church, 133 North Delphine, Waynesboro, VA 22980, to feed the needy, in memory of Dale.
The family is being served by Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, Fishersville.

Dale you will be missed. My dad, Lane, used to talk about you. Your at peace now and noone or nothing can hurt you any more. I'm sure your with everyone just talkin about the old times, & laughing at us.
