Thinking best wishes for you Mike. I can't imagine how hard this has been for you. Remember, you have lot's of friends who love and care about you.
There is no one who didn't know of your love for Rebeckha. You spoke of her fondly with everyone so often. I almost feel like I knew her personally. I am so sorry for your loss. You are a great dad and I'm sure Rebeckha will always know how much you love her.

mike, i met her in 9th grade and she instantly became a good friend. it seemed like whenever we had plans to hang out somethin came up. a couple of good memories are when i taught her how to play the drums at my house sophomore year. it makes me sad that we were becoming close friends toward the end of junior year and then this happened. its just not fair that she had to go so soon. you have become like my 2nd dad mike. i love you man

Every day I think about Rebeckha. Before she was in high school you were so worried about her. The first person you told that to was me, and you told me to keep an eye on her. And I did, and I can remember everyday I saw her in school I said hello to her and she always had the biggest smile on her face. I will never forget the Disney World vacations our familys shared. I can remember everytime we were going on any of the thrill rides she was right there behind us ready to go on. But my best times with her was when I picked her up at your moms house and drove her to school. You were always on my case about being late for school and I used to tell you I would be there early and get her to school on time. But I never was on time and we used to laugh about it. We always had a lot to talk about those mornings and I really got to know her. I will always remember those moments and I will never forget what a cool girl she was and how much she meant everyone. Ill miss her as will thousands of people who knew her. Your are like an uncle to me Mike and she is a cousin. You will always be family to me I love you man.

Mike,
It has been 4 months since we lost a beautiful, sweet and loving young woman. We want you to know that it is still fresh in our hearts as we think of her and the loved ones she left behind everyday. Not a day goes by that we dont think of her and you and the pain you are feeling. Please keep the beautiful memories you have of her close to your heart...you were the best Dad and still are as she smiles down on you each and everyday. Our family has many fun memories of her, birthdays together, Whitehawks, The just to get together partys,Lyndseys babysitting...and oh yeah Shane always wound up there too!!! They will treasure those days forever, going to your moms, sleeping at Karens and just having alot of laughs with you and Beckha. (Oh yeah the breakfasts were pretty good too we heard!). Please remember we are here for you always. We miss that bright smile but see it everytime we think of her!!
We love you Mike.
Love, Jim, Chris, Derek, Lyndsey & Shane

It's been over a month and not a day or even a few hours go by that I don't think of Beckha. She always was the sweetest, most innocent little girl. I will never forget her. In fact, if I have another little girl, I will give her Rebeckha's name as her middle name. I always loved her and so hasn't everyone. I cannot describe how sorry I am.

Dearest Whitefield Family...
I can't even begin to imagine the sorrow and grief that your families are going through, because all our hearts are broken. Our only comfort is knowing that she is with Pam and your Dad, smiling and laughing as she is watching over us..and I hope she is truly amazed at all the people who have showed just how much she has touched their lives, and how important she was to each and everyone of us. I will treasure all the adventures she shared with me and my family..and I will carry those wonderful memories of her with me ..always. She's such a great kid, always with a smile on her face, always up to something, and it was always fun just to be around her. We will miss her terribly, and my heart goes out to you and your family.

Mike & Family,
I worked with Pam at Attleboro Mutual and I remember when Rebeckha was born and how exciting it was for you two. You both were truly blessed with this beautiful baby girl. I know there is nothing I can say to make the pain go away, but I hope it helps to know that she is smiling down on all of you as she is wrapped in her moms arms again.

To the Whitefield family,

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I lost my own brother two years ago, and this is all too familiar. I worked with Rebeckha at Briggs and she was the nicest person, always with a smile and a kind word. I was so shocked when I heard what happened, and so deeply saddened. I know there are no words to ease the pain, only ones that offer temporary comfort. Though we've never met, I pray for your family, and I keep Rebeckha in my prayers as I do for my brother. May Rebeckha find peace and joy in God's loving arms, and may He give you the strength to heal.

Sincerely,
Chris Rigakos

May 23, 2008

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Mike:

Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your beautiful little Rebeckha.

One of the fondest memories I have is the day after Rebeckha was born when Mike & I visited with you, Pam and Rebeckha at the hospital.

The happiness and joy that both you and Pam had with the blessed birth of Rebeckha sparkled in Pam's & your eyes like shining stars in the midnight sky.

Rebeckha was a beautiful baby and grew up to be a beautiful young lady on the inside as well as the outside.

May God grant you strength and comfort with the knowledge that Rebeckha is now in heaven in her mom's arms.

I am certain they are watching both Rebeckha and Pam are watching over you with all the love they have for you.

Love always

We are so sorry for your loss. Rebeckha was a *wonderful* girl.

We hadn't seen her for a bit....but did talk about her....and recently we had been looking at pics of her and reminising up at the horse farm.

And Kaylee following Becky around ~ completely in awe of her.

She was a fantastic girl. She will be missed.

Mike & Family:
"Ours is not to reason why...." some people have a special gift that can touch so may others' lives in such a short amount of time......Pam had that gift, and she passed it to Rebeckha with God's help, to light your life in a dark time. Just look around at all the lives they have touched, and don't let that light fade. Live life to the fullest, and may God's peace be with you always.

Dear Mike, Both you and Beckha's friendship meant the world to my mother and I. She was Daddy's little girl and she always will be. We are just a phone call away if you ever need anything.
