His daughter is a beautiful person. No father can raise such a person without being beautiful himself.

Shari and family, Although I only briefly met Mr. Dempsey when he was visiting up north, I know that he was a wonderful person by seeing the person his daughter was. I know that this loss will be difficult for all of you, however, have faith that he will now be with each and every one of you the rest of your days.

Sweet Maura and Family,
What an amazing man your Father was. And what a beautiful way to show your love by surrounding him with family while he transitioned. We are here for you as your heart grieves.

Heartfelt sympathy for your family as your dad begins his journey. I loved reading about him, even though I did not know him. I know he was a fine person, to produce a wonderful daughter Maura, and to have family and friends who mourn his passing. Blessings for his journey, and to endure your own personal sorrows.

To Aunt Pat, Shari, Chip, Maura,Kelly, and Shawn,
I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Jim. The summer before last on a trip to GF, I dropped by to visit him at Adirondack Manor. Although he had slowed down a bit, he still had a twinkle in those beautiful Irish eyes, and plenty of wit to spare.
My thoughts are with all of you.
Love, Lorraine

For Pat , all the Dempsey children and grandchildren. Wonderful memories of Lake George and Jim and Bob, Aunt Tress and Uncle Rob and Grandma Yarter are forever etched in my memory and heart way up on the list of the happiest of times. If Lake George exists in heaven, I like to think of Jim riding along in his speedboat - young and handsome and carefree once again. I know that you will all miss your wonderful husband and father. His most notable legacy (with the help of your Mom) is a wonderful family. Love, Ann and Rolando de Avila
