James (Jimmy) Lyle Duncan, age 61, Citra FL, passed away on September 26, 2025. He was born January 14, 1964, in Mishawaka, Indiana, a son of Thomas and Sharon Duncan.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas and Sharon Duncan, son; Jason Duncan, and partner; Jerry Mink.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; a brother, Frank R Duncan; 2 children; a daughter; Elizabeth M (Clarence) Sandlin, a son; James R (Nicole) Duncan, seven grandchildren; two granddaughters; Katelyn S, and Natalie S, five grandsons; Dakota S, Jarred D, Mason S, Jason S, and Collin D.
James worked and retired from the University of Notre Dame. During his 30 years working there, he had made many memories, and many more friends. He always had a smile that could lighten your day and a hug that could put you back together.
To know James was to know he loved being out in yard, or working on something around the house. We all know he was a handyman. He loved crafts and decorating as well. He was a very talented man, and many traits.
His memory will always be cherished, and we will always have a special place in all our hearts.
Until we meet again (Pops). We will love and will cherish you always.
