Juanita Osborne

OSBORNE, JUANITA, 58 - of Minotola, was born on July 16, 1950 in Americus Georgia to the late Ruby Nell Osborne. As a young child "Nita" came to live with Cora Lee Stone and family who helped raise her in Richland, New Jersey. Juanita was a kind hard working woman who cherished her mother "Ruby" and step father Thomas Vargas. Juanita was a dedicated New Jersey State employee for 27 years, employed with the Vineland Developmental center before retiring due to illness, April 2004. She was educated in the in the Buena Regional School District and graduated from Vineland Senior High School in 1969. Juanita also attended Glassboro State College (Rowan University) in 1969-1970. August 16, 1990 she graduated from the LPN Program at the Atlantic County Vocational Technical School, Mays Landing, New Jersey. Juanita is survived by her life partner Thermond Copes; two sons Lynell and Andre Osborne all of Minotola; two grandchildren, Ruby N. Osborne of Millville and Andre Osborne, Jr. of Minotola; two uncles John E. (Annie) Stone of Richland and Carl A. Stone of Vineland; and Aunt Ruth Stone of Vineland; the Stone and Jerkins families, and a host of cousins and close friends. She is predeceased by her mother and step-father Ruby Nell Osborne and Thomas Vargas, and Uncle, Ernest Stone. Services will be held on Friday, 12 noon, at the First Baptist Church, Washington Ave, Richland, where a viewing will be held from 10:00 am till the time of the service.
