David Palermo Obituary



PALERMO, DAVID, CAESAR, 73 - of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on October 5, 2008. He was born on April 25, 1935 in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. He was a self-employed bricklayer for 50 years. David enjoyed his gardening, family, and spending time with his long time companion, Joan Campbell. David was predeceased by his brother, Lou; his sisters Margie, Flo Burroughs, and Anna Nuckols. David is survived by his siblings, Reynold (Marlene), Emilio (Cleo), Maria Bone, Barbara Mong (James), Victoria, five children, Sam (Carol) of Marrieta, Georgia, Anthony (Linda) of Lauderdale, Kevin of Egg Harbor Township, Adrienne of Egg Harbor Township, David of Mays Landing, the mother of his children, Romaine of Mays Landing. Grandpop will be sadly missed by his eight grandchildren, Brittany, Danielle, Chelsea, Dana, Christina, Nicholas, Angela, Gianna, and great grandson, Reef. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 25 West Verona Avenue, Pleasantville. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow at the Atlantic County Veterans Memorial Park in Estell Manor. Romaine and children, So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. We have many fond memories of him, including your being our youngest son's godparents. I had lots of fun woriking with Dave back in the Brigantine days. Hope you're all well.
