Salvatore Campana Obituary

CAMPANA, SALVATORE, of Little Egg Harbor, October 17,2008, beloved husband to Donna; son to the late Salvatore and Concetta (Devito); loving father to Perry (Kathleen), and the late Joseph and William; adoring grandfather to Perry; dearest brother to Rachel (Peter) D'Adarno, Anna (Rocco) Stango and the late Joseph, Peter, Albert, Armand and Thomassina Cozzalino; brother-in-law to Mary and Marilyn (Keith) Stubbendick; also survived by nieces and nephews. Salvatore was a member of Teamsters #331 from 1968 to 1999. He worked for Pinto Brothers Trucking Co. He worked at the Convention Center and he also bartended in clubs in Somers Point. As a youth, Salvatore served with the CCC in Virginia and the Merchant Marines. He served in the 34th Division of the Army from 1943-46. He fought battles in Italy, Antwerp, Belgium and Germany during the invasion of France. Relatives and friends invited to his Viewing Wed., 7-9PM and Thurs., 8:30-9:30AM at Carto Funeral Home Inc., 2212-14 S. Broad St. Philadelphia, PA. Funeral Mass 10AM at Annunciation Church, 10th and Dickinson Sts. Int. Holy Cross Cem., Mays Landing NJ. In lieu of flowers, make memorial donations to Diabetes Fdn.
