Viola C. Hohneisen

HOHNEISEN, VIOLA C., 84 - of Ramseur, NC, Formerly of Egg Harbor City. Passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2008, at the Randolph Hospital in Asheboro, NC. Viola was born November 10, 1923, to James and Minnie Cavalucci. She was married on July 14, 1944, to William A. Hohneisen, who predeceased her in death. Viola was employed for twenty-six years by the Atlantic County Superintendent of Schools. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, brothers, John, George, and Henry Cavalucci and sisters, Daisy Whalen and Lucinda Staiger. Viola is survived by her son, William Dennis Hohneisen and his wife, Sherri, of Ramseur; brothers, Ernest Cavalucci and his wife, Corinne; Harvey Cavalucci and his wife Rita, all of Egg Harbor City; she will also be missed by two granddaughters, Melissa Hohneisen and Charissa Brunson and her husband, Larry, and the loves of her life, three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Taryn and Trevor Brunson, all of Ramseur. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Christine Hamlin, and Rose Cavalucci; brother-in-law, Andy Breder; and a host of nieces and nephews who have been so kind to her over the years, especially her niece, Lois Bates and her husband, Carl of Asheboro. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the members of Faith Baptist Church, who lovingly took Viola into their fellowship when she moved from New Jersey and to Dr. Heather Spry and her staff at Hodges Family Practice who managed her physical care for the last five years and to the staff of Randolph Hospital and Community Home Care and Hospice whose compassion made Viola's last days comfortable.
