I was so sorry to hear about Don's passing. I am with the NCA, conference chair for the 2000 convention in Cleveland. We rode the same bus for the entire event. Enjoyed the time we spent together that long weekend. I have an all day event to attend on November 12th. If there is anyway I can get away, I may see you at the service in Huron.

If the name sounds familiar, my dad, Lloyd Crable, worked with Don for a number of years at Sac State. When I was a student there, I often found him in or around my dad's office and I remember Don well as someone who always had a smile, a pleasing manner, and a good word. I was so sorry to hear of his unexpected passing. As was the case with my dad, I know that sudden deaths can be very trying. Please be assured of all my best wishes to all the family and my sincere regrets to hear of your loss. I know he will be greatly missed.
Sincerely, David J. Crable

Jay,
Angela, Olivia and I are very sorry for the tremendous loss suffered by you and your family. It is also a great loss for all of those people that will now not have the privelige of meeting your father, though we are confident that you will carry on his legacy of warmth, compassion and humor. We love you and our prayers are with all of you.
