Memorial Day has been very difficult for me since Ryan passed. I loved working and flying with him. His quick smile and positive attitude was infectious. I would seek him out when I was having a long day at HMM-268. He will never be forgotten. Semper Fidelis, Major Dave Heronemus, USMC (Retired).

Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and we'll be dedicating several of these to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and the hometown of Ryan Anthony Beaupre US Marine Captain. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.
Sincerely,

Ryan was a Lieutenant in my Operations department (S-3) in the HMM-268 Red Dragons squadron of CH-46's. I think about Ryan every Memorial Day. To Ryan's family, he was what any leader would want in a young Lieutenant...hard working, energetic, willing and wanting to learn every day. He epitomized service above self and defense of a country he loved. Semper Fidelis, Ryan. -Major Brian McNamara, USMC(ret).

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Beaupre,
To you and your family please know we still have not forgotten your Ryan. I think about Ryan everyday. I had a metal bracelet made with his name, rank, dates, etc. after I saw his story and letter home to you on ABC’s Nightline in 2003; on the first anniversary of his death. I still wear the bracelet today. I visited Ryan’s Prayer Book after that airing and left a message to you and your family.
But my message here is to let you know we have not forgotten Ryan and all of the fallen, we continue to keep you in our daily prayers, and we still gives thanks to you and your son for the sacrifice he made for his country.
We thank God for the freedom we enjoy and for the men and women like Ryan who have made it possible. I give you my word that we will NOT let this country forget Ryan and his fellow warriors. They are still our heroes, we will continue to honor their sacrifices, and NEVER let them leave our hearts, our minds, and our prayers.
I still love to come to Ryan’s website; I’m glad it’s here. I’m happy people are still learning about Ryan, visiting his Prayer Book, and leaving their messages.
We will not forget; my flag flies daily with that message: Never Forget.

Dear family of
Capt. Ryan Anthony Beaupre,
We want to say thank you. We understand that no words can be adequate for your sorrow. We certainly do not want to intrude upon your privacy. As Americans we want you to know that we deeply appreciate the ultimate sacrifice your loved one has made for all of us. We also would like for you to be aware that with this letter comes our special concern and prayers for you. We are all safer because young men and women who love their country, and know the value of a free nation, are willing to put themselves in harms way, and lay down their lives to keep this nation free and safe for all of us.
Your sacrifice is also very great. We know that we can give little comfort; however, the knowledge that your loved one did not die in vain, but died in the service of our country, gives each of us a noble example of the value of life, and the responsibility of freedom. We hope this will bring pride and comfort to you.
We at Gethsemane Church believe that there is purpose to life. We send this letter with our deepest appreciation for the greatest of sacrifices, you and your loved one have given to this country. We know it is not enough, but please allow us to assure you that your loved one is not forgotten.
Very Sincerely

I happened across this website and found Ryan's entry. It is hard to believe it has been nearly 5 years. I know you have had many thoughts and prayers and this is just one more to add. Ryan is up in Heaven protecting us still and knowing that brings peace to us all. I thank you and thank him for his bravery and commitment to serving this country and the sacrafice he made in keeping us safe, even now from God's side. God Bless.

If this person can stand in battle to ensure my freedom, then I will stand in grief with his/her family to honor him/her. For every fallen HERO there is a bright star that shines in the evening sky to remind us of the cherished gift we were given – even if for too short a time.
My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courageous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guest book for the rest of my life, but I promised LE RON A. WILSON (a dear friend KIA 7/6/07, 18yrs old) that neither he nor any like him would be forgotten and so I will continue until the day there is no longer the need.

To Ryan's Family, I should have posted this long ago. I have not forgotten Capt Beaupre's name since I first saw it in the newspaper. It was printed again on May 28, 2007 in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. I do not know any of your family but I do feel a closeness that others do not. You have my sincere sympathy and even my love. I trust the Lord to be with all of you forever.

I'll never forget Ryan Beaupre, although I never met him, he was one of the very first to respond to my friend Mark and give his life. My best friend Mark Ludvigsen died on 9/11 and I carry a slip of paper in my wallet with Ryan's name. Thank you Ryan for defending my friend Mark. I'll keep that slip of paper a long as I live.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Mark and Nikki, I first met you due to the death of your son Ryan, I've since got to know you both due to your love for your dog(s). With my husband Todd being an inactive Marine and with the death of our daughter Nichole in 2000, we both understand the loss you are feeling and the strength that it takes to make sure that their lives will never forgotten. You both are in our thoughts and prayers on a daily basis. Todd and I both believed then and we still do now, that what he did and what our service people are still doing will make a difference. Thank you for raising such a wonderful young man and a great Marine.

Psalm 23
1
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
3
He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
This is a verse that I have found to be comforting to me during my husbands death. Remember that when it seems that no one else is round, God is still there with you! And he will be your rock!
My daughter,McKaLyne, and I send our heartfelt sympathy for your loss! God Bless this warrior, God Bless those whom serve freedom's cause! They are our true HERO's!!!!
