I Knew Harriet in the last decades of her life. When we first met, she was an avid traveler and had been to more countries than most people dream of. After she moved to Albuquerque, she lived a good life, a life brightened by her daughter, Janet, whose loving care mean everything to her and to all of us.

To Mrs. Simon's Family - Please accept my sincere sympathy. Mrs Simon taught my children at George Washington School in the 70's and we all respected her and remembered her.

Harriet loved Elmira -- loved Harris Hill and walks down the riverside; loved her friends and her Elmira College compatriots. We will all miss her.
