Having known her for over 50 years, there will be a vacuum that can`t be filled. She kept me laughing and above all up-to-date on the events in all of the children`s lives whom she adored. My favorite memories are music related esp. a night at the Homestead when she was around a piano singing until 2 in the morning in her later years.

Nimmie had only one gear - fast and fun. She was a great listener and teacher. Her gravely laughter could start a riot - one you would not want to miss! I still see her gaining speed going down hill at Pantops and saying over her shoulder, "This is the fastest I've walked in years." I had to run to catch up with her!

Isobel, I can see your mother right now coming down to the basement and saying " kids please don't make so much noise".
Also, her coming into "Ed Michtom's and talking to us about clothing.
She will be greatly missed and all families should have a mother like that.
Hope the family is doing ok, but your mother had such a wonderful life.
