VANN HARGETT, Bettie Louise, age 75, passed on to be with our Lord and Savior August 23, 2008 in Tulsa, Okla., with her two daughters, Thea Bland and Aleta Hoch by her side. Known by many as "Betty Boop" and "Betty Crocker," she gave us her gift of laughter and cakes. She will be honored on September 6, 2008, 3 p.m., at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave. Following, friends and family are invited to gather in fellowship to celebrate her life at the Hilton Garden Inn Innsbrook. In her memory, donations may be made to the Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship Fund, c/o Saint Francis Hospital Auxiliary, 6161 South Yale, Tulsa, Okla. 74136. Cremation Society of Oklahoma, 918-599-7337.

I will always remember Bettie for her contagious laughter, her delicious cakes, and her devotion to her family and friends. Always upbeat, she lived her life to the fullest. I will miss her.
