TALIAFERRO, Jean B., 82, formerly of Tappahannock, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008. She was a retired social worker and former member and organist of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Chance, Va. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Drew and Kathy; and granddaughter, Laura, all of Baltimore, Md. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 4 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Arrangements by Marks-Bristow Funeral Home, Tappahannock.

Drew, Your mother was truly a saint and one of the kindest people I've ever known. Her unselfishness & willingness to help others, including my own mother, will never be forgotten. Heaven is receiving one of the best! I wish we could be there for the funeral. Our thoughts & prayers are with you. Much love,
