APPLER, Frances Tinnell, 88, of Richmond, passed away October 3, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Appler. She is survived by her son, W. Howard Appler Jr.; and a loving grandson, William Derrick Barnhill. She was also a fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was a retired City of Richmond school teacher. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2008, 12 noon, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave., Richmond, Va.
