To a very special family who will always be and remain very dear to my heart. Through the eyes of a six 6year old in 1962 they became my second family. We've shared so many trips, vacations and lots of outings together. Mrs. Street was like a second Mom to me while my mom and dad worked. She treated me as one of the family and was always very kind and gentle. I remember they ask me to go on vacation with them one year and we went to the river. Wanda and I would always be giggling and cutting up when it was time for bed. That particular night I sang a song that was popular at that time on WLEE radio call "Bottle of Wine". I pretended to be drunk and kept singing that song over and over...
I remember Mrs. Street laughing so hard and in tears over how silly we could be. She had a contagious laugh and very sweet. Sweet memories of how she would always have lunch ready and she would always include me. Wanda and I were best buddies. I remember the times our mothers would let us ride the bus over to Broad Street to see Wanda's Aunt Bettie Jean. That was always so much fun and we really thought we were something else going over there by ourselves. Looking back now...I would say we were because now parents wouldn't dream of such. Mrs. Street would drive us down to Southside Plaza to catch the bus over town. I have so many good memories of those days. That was our little Peyton Place. Mrs. Kelly ask us Monday night if we do it all over again ... and we said yes... I have such wonderful memories of my childhood with the Street Family and YES I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN IN A NY MINUTE.

I would like to send my deepest sympathy with all my Love to a very loving family. I pray that God will watch over you always and will give each one of you the strength to endure the loss of such a beautiful loving lady. I also pray that God will forever more hold you close in his loving arms and protect you in all that you do.
Love Always Julie Brown

To the Street Family - I think so much of Mrs. Street's granddaughters, Amanda & Monica. My thoughts and prayers are extended to your entire family as you remember your grandmother and family member. May her memories be a source of comfort and love to you. With respect and prayers to each of you.
