Evelyn Frances Johnson Richeson

RICHESON, Evelyn Frances Johnson, 97, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Lucy Corr Village, Chesterfield, Va. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Molly Kate Johnson. She was born in 1911 in Brights, Va., and moved to Lynchburg when she married Manassah Richeson in 1931. She was preceded in death by six siblings as well as her husband. She is survived by a son, James Richeson and his wife, Mary Frances; a grandson, Mark Richeson and his wife, Joey, all of Midlothian; a granddaughter, Ann Richeson and her husband, Raymond Wright, of Mechanicsville; and a great-grandson, Carl Randolph Richeson of Midlothian. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home Sunday, November 2, from 2 to 3 p.m., with her funeral to begin at 3 p.m. Burial will be private at Fort Hill Memorial Park in Lynchburg. The family wishes to thank the staff at Lucy Corr for the wonderful care that was given to her in the past two and a half years of her life. Thanks especially to Krystin Reese.
