Phyllis (Lewis) Richeson, 73, of Liberty, MO, passed away on August 14, 2025.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 23, 1952, Phyllis was the daughter of Barbara (Mathews) Lewis and Walter Lewis. Throughout her life, Phyllis found much joy in gardening and singing. She also dedicated a significant portion of her time to various organizations, including the Girl Scouts and Watkins Mill. Additionally, Phyllis regularly participated in bell ringing for The Salvation Army.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Walter Lewis, and her siblings, William (Bill) and Helen (Jan). She is survived by her son, Brian (and his wife, Nichole), and her daughter, Melanie (and her husband, David). Phyllis is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Brett and Brenna as well as her brother Robert (Bob).

A celebration of Phyllis's life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, online at alz.org or by mail, to further the important work of research and support for those affected by Alzheimer's disease.
