Norton Tyson Obituary

TYSON, Norton H., 87, of Richmond, passed away Friday, October 31, 2008. He is survived by his beloved wife, Monique Tyson. He was the loving father of Patrick John (Charlotte) Tyson of Raleigh, N.C. and Evelyn Tyson Felts of Kent County, England; dear brother of Bernard Joseph (Katherine) Tyson of West Point, Va., the late William Edward Tyson and the late Gerard Peter Tyson. Mr. Tyson was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, had many years of service with the Virginia Electric Power Co. and with Home Beneficial Life Co., and was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 2 from 3 to 7p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., Midlothian. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 3 at 11 a.m. at the chapel. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Richmond.
