Dr. Catherine De Nerville

de NERVILLE, Dr. Catherine J.M., 72, of Richmond, Va., died October 27, 2008. She was retired from the Montgomery County Maryland Public Schools system where she taught for 30 years. She received an MA from American University and a PhD from Catholic University of America. She was the widow of Louis Francois Guillebot de Nerville. She is survived by her mother, Mary M. Shelton, Asheboro, N.C.; one brother, Jack T. Maness, Asheboro, N.C.; one sister, Peggy M. Wood, Richmond, Va.; nephews, John B. Wood III, Chester, Va., Charles M. Wood, Chesterfield, Va., grandnephew, Joshua D. Wood, Chesterfield, Va.; and a niece, Shelia J. Maness, Bethesda, Md. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, followed by a Celebration of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, 4400 Beulah Road, Richmond, Va. 23237. Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 5 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 3001 R Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20007-2923. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Augustine Catholic Church Building Fund.
