SMITH, Willie B., of Richmond, formerly of Scotland Neck, N.C., entered eternal life November 10, 2008. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Mattie Smith; two daughters, Felicia R. Walton and Veronica Rosel; four sons, Willie Jr., Frederick Earl, Tyron and Quintinn Smith; six grandchildren; seven sisters; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three daughters-in-law; two sons-in- law; his mother-in-law, Mozella Johnson; seven sisters- in-law; two brothers-in-law; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at North Gayton Baptist Church, 3244 Pump Road, where remains will rest in state an hour prior to funeral time. Rev. James Hedgepeth, pastor, officiating. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. Online condolences can be made at www.jenkinsjr.com.
