CARNEAL, Donald Warren "Duck", 59, of Chesterfield, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mary Beasley Carneal; and a brother, Wayne. Duck, as he was known by, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired after 34 years as a truck driver. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sue; daughters, Christy, Stephanie, and Carol; brothers, Larry (Debbie), Steve (Teresa); sisters, Mary (Moody), and Debbie Sue (Charles); along with several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2008 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, with Pastor John Brothers officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Va. 23834.
