Georgie B. Thompson

THOMPSON, Georgie B., age 89, of Keysville, Va., died on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. She was the widow of John R. Thompson. Surviving are three children, Early Thompson and wife, Irma, Shirley Thompson, Joyce T. Bridges and husband, Burwell; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; five sisters, Flora Grant, Phyllis Satterwhite, Margaret Armstead, Audrey Larin and Jean Farley. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2008, at the Browning Funeral Home, with interment in Ash Camp Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 4, 2008, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning Funeral Home in Keysville is in charge of the arrangements.
