Jim was an amazing man. I had the great pleasure to work with him for about 6 years at US Foodservice. Jim and I shared the same birthday, and without fail he remembered every year. We got such a kick out of remembering the other that it almost became a game as to who would leave who a voicemail or make the first call on our day. Even though I left US Foodservice a year before he retired, I still…to this day…at some point on October 9th, ALWAYS say to myself “Happy Birthday Jim”.
To the family and friends of Jim Grippe, I offer my sincere condolences. He spoke of you all with so much love and admiration. It was an honor to have known and worked with him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you,

Dear Family of Mr. Grippe,
What a joy to be around, i must say. We always enjoyed his presence. He would bring us heath bars! Mostly his joyful smile and his pleasant attitude always made us stop and smile ourselves. I pray for rest for your family.I pray you feel peace knowing that he is resting in the arms of his Father!
It has been a honor to know Jim and we are grateful for that opportunity.
