To the Nolan family:
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Jim and I were co-workers in the Senate many years ago when we all just youngsters. He was a cherished friend, and no one could make me laugh like he could. I'll remember him always.

Mary Beth,
I was very sad to learn of Jim's passing. I so enjoyed our visit last January and our reminiscing of our Millbank Tweed days. His stoicism is an inspiration! Many hugs and prayers for you and Bridget.

My thoughts and loving wishes for you and your family upon the loss of your beloved husband and father. For all the professional merits that Jim possessed, I found him always to be easily approachable and a pleasure to share moments of light hearted conversations with. I, along with many other residents of the Carillon Neighborhood, will sincerely miss Jim.
