TAYLOR, Mrs. Winifred Clary, of Gasburg, Va., died Friday, January 16, 2009. Born December 19, 1927, she is survived by her husband, James H. Taylor; her son, Jamie Taylor; her sister, Geraldine C. Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews; and caregiver, Nannie Powell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Gertie Clary; and brothers, Shelton and C.G. "Pop" Clary. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Matthews Chapel, South Brunswick, Va. with interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 386, Gasburg, Va. 23857 or Matthews Chapel United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 8308 Christanna Hwy., Gasburg, Va. 23857.
