Joseph Yarhouse Obituary

YARHOUSE, Joseph A., age 83, of Richmond, died January 23, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Eunice, was the eldest son of the late Aaron and Bessie Yarhouse; a brother Aaron Jr.; and a sister Ruth Hart. He is survived by two daughters, Linda Hall and her husband, Rolly, and Brenda Hite and her husband, Frank; a son, Richard Yarhouse; two granddaughters, Jennifer Harton and Chrissie Callis; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Brown and Betty Templeton; and a brother, Herbert Yarhouse. Mr. Yarhouse was a Naval veteran of WWII. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family. His remains rest at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, and where funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday. Interment Bermuda Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association or the Diabetes Association.
