I went to school with Donald, he was quit the ladies man, there were always friends around him, he is famous for that wonderful smile he showed off on a daily basis, I know how painful it is to lose someone so speacial, but Donald is no longer in the pain that the cancer surely put him in,
I too lost my dad to cancer and each day that comes will never be the same, all you can do is hold onto those great memories that Donald left us all.

Anybody that had the pleasure of calling Donald a friend has a heavy heart today knowing we won't see him anymore smiling and gracing us with his earthly presence, but remember his smile and his fun loving ways and he will be near your heart always. We loved everything about him and we are better people now by knowing him and calling him a friend. Our teenage years will always have a great memory of Donald and especially the last few years. I know he was proud up in heaven looking down last night at all his family, friends and co-workers who attended his visitation. The slideshow and music brought back so many great memories. It was bittersweet seeing everyone but he would have loved it because he was such a people person. May God bless you all and know that we are thinking and praying for you and may all your memories of Donald help fill the void in your hearts.

I just this moment heard the sad news of Donald's passing. It's been a long time since I've seen Donald, but he's someone you don't easily forget. I can see his smile and here him laughing both of which I recall him doing so well. His kindness will surely live on in all those who love him. May you find peace in your memories and in God's love.

Charlotte, Revina and Doug,

Your hearts are broken but Donald has gone into the bright light of God's love and is free of pain.
In my mind he will always be a lanky young boy, kind and polite with a grin that was contagious. Matt thought he was a young god and he was Sara's first secret crush. Everyone loved him.
God bless you all during this time of great loss. You're in my heart.

I am heartbroken at your loss. I have no words to express the depth of my sadness , I only have tears . You stood by Stephanie five years ago and mourned the death of her father with her. You shared in the laughter and the pain over the years and now we stand by you and your family's side and share your pain and sorrow. Once again we stand under the umbrella of God's Mercy as the rain pours down

As a supervisor on the Dasani Line, I found Donald’s many talents and excellent work ethics to be and invaluable asset towards the challenges we shared throughout the years we worked together. During his walk in life, Donald was always there to lend a helping hand to all whom he came in contact with. Please know that Donald was loved by us all. May God's love be of comfort to your family.

Sandston Coca-Cola has lost a friend, a model employee, and a skilled technician.

Donald has always been a pleasure to work with. His friendliness and knowledge of equipment made life better for anyone he came in contact with. Donald started at Sandston Coca-Cola in 1996 as a night shift mechanic. His outstanding work ethic and learning ability enabled Donald to become an expert mechanic very quickly. Donald has had many assignments through the years, but the toughest and most visible one came with the installation of the Dasani water line in 2003. Donald took ownership of the line and a large part of the credit for its successful startup belongs to him.

He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Know that Donald's Coca-Cola family has all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Donald will be greatly missed - he was a dear friend a striaght stand up guy - He is the man I pray my boys will grow up to be like, kind, loving, sincere, compationate, honest, loyal, optomistic, hard working, Godly, a Hero to many - all those who know Donald understand what a wonderful man he was - no words can do him justice and everyone who met him, liked him. He was always there in times of need, anytime. If he said it, he did it. He was a man of integrity. Donald was the best of best friends any man could have - I know this because he was my Scott's Very Best Friend - No one can ever replace him nor could they even begin to - he was one of a kind. A true blessing to all those who love him. I can barely write this with out my tears clouding my view. I am hear for you Linda. You know Scott is too. Please know how much we loved him and just the same for you. Accept our hand, ear or shoulder if ever in need, anytime. I know Donald would do the same. I will honor him in every way I can. May peace fill your heavy hearts and may God guide you and show you happiness within. In Jesus name Amen "I believe" Rest In Peace my brother my friend - we will see you again! All my love to you.

Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
