Clara Fore Obituary

FORE, Clara Lawson, 80, of Henrico, passed away February 28, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 61 years and four months, Julian F. Fore; two children, Julian W. Fore of Arlington, Va. and Gwendolyn Fore Valiani and son-in-law, Charles D. Valiani of Spotsylvania, Va.; four grandchildren, Robert Christopher Borum of Louisa, Va., Charles Andrew Valiani of Fredericksburg, Va., Dr. Alexander Greggs Fore of Pasadena, Calif., Jeffrey Nathan Valiani of Spotsylvania, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Robert Braxton and Tyler Joseph Borum; two sisters, Margaret Lawson Seawell and Carolyn Lawson Devericks. Clara was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and an avid gardener. The family will receive friends Monday, March 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Mausoleum at Westhampton Memorial Park. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow. Contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund.
