Dear Elizabeth, Uncle Buddy, Aunt Edie, Greg and Mark: Words cannot do justice to how sorry we all feel about the loss of Sweet David. I remember when he was little and just "Davy." He always had such a loving and gentle spirit. I don't think I ever saw him angry or heard him utter a bad word about anyone. It was obvious how much he loved you and how much he meant to each of you. I remember his wedding to Elizabeth where he was just beaming with joy and happiness, having found his true love and lifetime companion. That will always be such a special day in my memories. Last time I talked with David, he was sitting by the big oak tree at the Little Family Reunion. He was more chatty than ever and said he was happy and life was good. His eyes had a twinkle when he spoke those words. Each of you are in our thoughts and prayers as we can't imagine the loss, grief and pain that you feel. I am proud to have had David as a cousin. The Little family has so many special people and he was certainly one of them. I pray that your pain will ease in time and that you will find peace in David's memory and in his legacy of compassion and kindness.

Words cannot express my feelings of loss for all of the Little Family. David will truly be missed by many and it was an honor to have been a small part of his life. Family bonds family; upon family together in good times and bad. I pray the wounds heal quickly but fond memories are never fogotten. I can remember being at the Little family reunion at Buddy and Edies house at the lake. All of us yungins' (or oldin's depending) sat on the dock and sang till the wee hours of the morning. God Bless and may he rest in Gods arms forever.

Edie, Buddy, Mark & Greg - my heart is breaking for you. I am shocked and so saddened by David's death. I remember when we were little and he held on to our german shepard Queenie's fur to walk around the yard. She would not let anyone else touch her like that...
All my sympathy and love..Karen
