I had the pleasure of knowing Anne and her husband every since they moved to this area. My son and his family are members of the same church, Fincastle Presbyterian. Every time I visited the church to see my grandchildren perform in church programs, Anne was always there with her big smile to make me feel welcome . She was a gracious lady in every aspect of her life. She and her brother, George, were both very special people and will be missed by the entire community. Please know that I shall keep all the family in my thoughts and prayers.

I did not know Anne as long as others but when she walked in a room she was a ray of sunshine. A charming, gracious, loving and lovely lady. And she could make some mean ham biscuits!!

Dear Jim and Family,
We express sympathy to you in your loss of Anne. She just always impressed us as such a gracious, beautiful lady. Anne's eyes were forever twinkling and youthful, as she always had time for a chat with us at church coffee hour. May God's grace uphold all of you in the coming days. Remember - "With death, time will not heal, but with a memory, time cannot steal."
With Christian Love,

Anne and I shared many happy times playing bridge and "antiquing" with friends. I shall miss her at church. Sincerely,
