Words of Comfort:
There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go. " ~Author Unknown

I wanted to share this quote for Micah's close family, for all of Micah's work family and for his friends everywhere.

Micah Royall is so Special, to so many, and I know he must have touched so many people's lives in a way they probably never imagined. He was a very special person to so many people he befriended.
Remember the laughter and the big smiles. Remember his everyday approach to life, his generosity, his personality, his ways with people are a real example for me and you. At the end of the day, it is the time with family and friends that meant the most.
This is the blessing that will be cherished in memories. I know he will be dearly missed!

For all who are suffering,
Tenderly, may God's love heal your sorrow.
Gently, may the prayers of friends ease your hurting.
Softly, may God's peace replace your heartache with warm and loving memories

Keeping the family and friends of Micah in my thoughts. He touched many people in positive ways, I hope those memories may somehow ease the pain you feel at this time.

I had the privilege of precepting Micah as a new Paramedic with the Henrico County Division of Fire prior to my retirement. He was an outstanding young man and an exceptional medic. His caring and concern for his patients was always of paramount importance.

Although his loss is most devastating to his family, friends, and members of the Division of Fire, his loss will extend to those in need who will never have the opportunity to experience his kindness, compassion, professionalism, and exceptional abilities.

Micah was a friend and brother, as are all firefighters, and I know that I am a better person for having known him.

May your memories comfort you; I pray for peace to replace your grief.

Micah will be truly missed by the brothers and sisters of the Henrico County DOF. I pray the family will take comfort in our Father's loving hands and grace He has given us. I personally take comfort in the fact that Micah new the Lord as his Personal Savior, and his name is eternally written in the Lamb's Book of Life. For that I know he is with you Lord.
