Richard Scott SPIVEY

SPIVEY, Richard Scott, 32, of Bumpass, died on September 17, 2009. He was born November 29, 1976, in Portsmouth, Va., to Joseph and Betty Jo Spivey. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wesley Spivey; his grandparents, Cecil and Mary Ann Spivey; and his grandmother, Marie C. Bishop. He is survived by his mother, Betty Jo Spivey; brother, Joseph Paul Spivey and his wife, Amber; his grandfather, Joseph R. Bishop; his uncle, David A. Spivey and his wife, Louise; and his dearly loved nieces, Rissa and Emma Spivey. Scott loved his family, neighbors and friends, and his work at Sorbie Cove. We will miss him. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at Rouzie's Chapel United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 19, 2009.
