Mary WILLIFORD Obituary

WILLIFORD, Mary Brame, 85, went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2009 while residing at the Beaufont Towers Retirement Home. She is survived by her husband, William A. Williford, and her five children, Nancy Lee Maines, John F. McGeorge Jr., Katherine McGeorge May, Susan McGeorge, and Edward Lee McGeorge. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Heather Barnes, Erika Samper, Matthew Burke, Hanna McGeorge, Sara McGeorge, John May, Melanie May Lutz, Joshua May, Joseph May, Ashley Giffin, Sharlee Crone, Gregory McGeorge, and Kevin McGeorge. Mrs. Williford is also survived by several stepchildren, step grandchildren and several natural and step great-grandchildren, as well as a niece and nephew. She was an active member of AA for over 30 years, a native of Southhill, Va., retired nurse, and a member of Grove Avenue Baptist Church. The memorial service will be held at the Cremation Society of Virginia, 1927 Westmoreland Street, Richmond, Va. 23230, on Tuesday, September 29 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to AA.
