Robert H. DULA

DULA, Robert H., 79, of Richmond, passed Sunday, September 27, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Alfonzo and Ena Dula, and stepmother, Ruth Dula. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Julia; son, Tim Dula (Karen Wooddy); daughter, Debbie Dula; son, David Dula; grandson, Sam Dula; granddaughter, Michelle Wooddy; sister, Donna Daniels of Winston-Salem, N.C.; sisters-in-law, Ruth Rothrock of Martinsville, Va., Reva Rothrock of Raleigh, N.C.; former daughter-in-law, Peaco; many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Special thanks to Brookside Home Health Care, particularly Laura and Patricia. Robert was a retired driver with Peaco Towing. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 28, and Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, where services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston.
