Madeline Beverly Obituary

Madeline Beverly 1919 - 2008 WILLIAMSTOWN Madeline Beverly, 89, of 956 North Hoosac Road died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at Sweet Bbrook Care Center. Born in Methuen on Feb. 11, 1919, daughter of Harry S. Learned and Emma P. Wilson Learned, she graduated from the former Williamstown High School with the class of 1936 and received her nurse's training at Samaritan Hospital in Albany, N.Y. Mrs. Beverly was employed as a registered nurse at North Adams Regional Hospital for 16 years from 1965 until her retirement in 1981. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading romance novels. She leaves her husband, Ernest W. Beverly, whom she married July 31, 1943, in Williamstown; three sons, Bruce E. Beverly of Auburn, Mark W. Beverly Sr. of New Ashford, and Dana L. Beverly Sr. of Williamstown; nine grandchildren, Brooke Beverly of Oxford, Lauren Carney of Coventry, Conn., Mark W. Beverly Jr. of New Ashford, Matthew Beverly of Waltham, Sandra Beverly of Worcester, Lucas Beverly of Amherst, Malinda Hayden of North Adams, Anthony Beverly and Dana Beverly Jr. of Clarksburg; two great-grandchildren, Cole Michael Carney and Brodie Hayden, and one niece, Carol O'Shea of Tyngsboro. A sister, Geraldine Archambeau, is deceased. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Madeline Beverly are private. There will be no calling hours. The FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
