Esther S. Baker

BAKER, Esther S. (Swift) 91 of Osterville, formerly of Milton, died on October 19, 2008 at Norwell Knoll Nursing & Rehabilitation. Wife of the late Newton S. Baker Sr. She leaves 2 sons, Newton S., and Elaine M. Baker, of Blythewood, SC and David R., and Sandra B. Baker, of Marshfield, MA. He also leaves six grandchildren, Christopher Baker, Nicole Baker-Kayton, Stephen Baker, Jared Baker Hilary Baker-Catala, and Alexis Baker, along with 5 great grandchildren, Domenic, Nicholas, Samuel, Olivia, and Drew. Esther was born in Milton, Ma. and a graduate of Milton High School. While in Milton she was a member of the Milton Hoosic Club and the Neighborhood Club of Quincy. Moving to Cape Cod in 1968, Esther loved to play golf, she was a member of the Oyster Harbors Club and Wianno Club. Esther was a long time volunteer at Milton Hospital for many years. A memorial service will be held on Friday Oct. 24, 2008 at 11 AM in St. Peters Episcopal Church, Wianno Ave, Osterville.
