Dear Bruce, Terry and Karyn-

My deepest sympathies on the passing of your dad. My thoughts are with you and your families at this time. I was the staff accountant at Philip Rootberg & Co. serving Edsal and the family for many years in the 70's and 80's. After that, I would see Ed in the office from time to time until I retired three years ago. More recently, Ed and I were in the same pulmonary rehab group at Rush North Shore Hospital until the rehab program was closed two years ago. We used to kibbitz about the "old days" during breaks in our excercising. He was a good guy and he will be missed.

When I was hired at Edsal Thirty-two (32) years ago, I was told that you treated your employees as family. That was as true then as it is now and for that I am eternally grateful. May god bless you now and forever.
