No time on earth is long enough to share with those we love or to prepare our hearts for good-bye.

Mr. Capps was my motorcyle shop teacher at Marysville high in the 70s. He was a real good person. He also used to always give a deal at his shop, he was always willing to work with you if you were short on cash. Rest in peace Mr. Capps.

ok, this might be a dupelicate, cuz I can't find the other post I did.
My dad, Dub Baty, was Jimmie's cousin. I remember going to the motorcycle races at Triple A Speedway, and to the river bottoms with Jimmie, Stan, Curtis, the whole Cox clan when I was just a little toe head.
I recently moved back to Yuba City and saw that the motorcycle shop was not on Hwy 20 anymore and every time I passed it, I told myself that I would look him up when I got back. Sadly, I always forgot.
My condolences to the family, to Vicki and Stan, to all the grandkids. My heart goes out to you.

Jimmie was my dad's cousin (Dub Baty). I remember going to motorcycle races with them, and Curtis's family, the whole Cox Clan, when I was just a little toehead. I recently moved back to Yuba City and saw that the bike shop was not on Hwy 20 anymore. I was planning on looking him & June up just to catch up on family, just never got around to it.
My condolences to the family, to my counsins I haven't seen in a bizillion years, Vicki and Stan, and to all the kids.

I remember Jimmie very well. Johnnie Baty, Tony F. and the GUHS class of 1956 all give Jimmie a fond farewell ... may his next bike run on better fuel ...
