Jackie, after reading the obit, I am full of admiration for your twin brother Jack, who led the kind of life of service that I only aspire to, and I pray that you find comfort in the wake of this sudden and grievous loss.

My brother & I grew up in the same neighborhood as Jack & his sisters. I lived in Savannah, GA for 29 years leaving in 1994 and did not find out until this past September that Jack had been living there too. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Although I was only around your father a few times, it was very apparent his love for you and Jackie. His eyes lit up in the presence of his girls! Know you are in our thoughts and prayers always, but especially at this time of earthly loss.

Jack was a kind,gentle,and thoughful man. As the mother-in-law to his daughter Missy, he would send me a Christmas card each year, and at the end ,he would always thank me for loving his daughter. I'll miss those cards, but not as much as i'll miss Jack himself.

Jack was a once in a lifetime example of what a real man should be. I feel truly bless to have known him. A true Mason, York Rite, Scottish Rite, and Shriner. He has been a part of my Journey. I will miss you my friend.

Dad Hepner was a great man. He brought out the best in us. We looked up to him. I remember my first dance as a new rainbow girl. He asked me to dance and there was no way I could keep up so he told me to step on his feet and he would carry me through the dance. I will miss him. I did not keep in touch with him like I should have over the last 20 years. The last time I did see him was at my fathers funeral. He came berring a smile and a hug. Just two months ago my son went to a beach weekend (his first Demoley event) and came home talking about how cool Dad Hepner was. We all loved him and will miss him. God Bless , our prayers go out to the family...

Brother Dad Jack was a long time friend,a Brother. He was with me in the last 6 plus years in my journey to the East in my Lodge. He has been a major supporter and encourager in my position as Chapter Dad of Cecil Cheves Chapter ,Order of DeMolay and a as Director of State Events for Georgia DeMolay. The Masonic Youth of Georgia have lost their biggest supporter and the Masonic Fraternity has lost a major asset. To Mechelle, Missy and Mindy, and Jack's sister, our prayers and condolences.

The family of SK Jack - you are so much in our prayers. Jack was kind, warm and funny; a "teddy bear" who gave so much of himself to his family and others. All of the Masonic bodies will feel a huge loss, but God will put him to good use. Thank you all for lending him to us and our memories will be foremost. Dad Hepner will be greatly missed!!! I have loved this man from the first time I met him at the Lodge. I was probably about 13 and his words of leadership and admonition have been a guiding force throughout my life. Jack was wise and wonderful. Never said a cross word to any of us and he was generous beyond belief to all he encountered. Always an inspitation and a help. My deepest sympathy to his family and loved ones. This man was truly a legend, one who we should hold dear in our hearts to be just like. I love you Dad Jack!!!
